This is an insight of one fight, but you can see how I approach this fight and counter the stong points of the enemy.
The enemy is Mr. Axerius. He has 2nd highest Arena BR and second highest total BR. He has been occupying arena 3rd spot for a good period of time now.
I really wish to see the top 5 spots filled with my guild mates. I hope the following piece will be helpful.
-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-'-
So, his defense setup is like this:
Zwe ............ Night Sent
.................... Djini Angel: Alecta
Rose ........... Amazon
Some strong heroes and great angel. But of course he has some units that can cause me more problems than others.
Problematic units: Night Sent and Amazon
It's hard to deal with both at the same time. So I have to avoid one, and kill the other first.
Amazon is easier to avoid as she won't kill a tank, but she can definitely kill a back laner. There is also a Rose in front of her. So it's better to leave the back row in that lane empty, while occupy the front row with a strong tank.
But which tank? Zwe or Nether?
My Zwe is tankier than my Nether as he is a 5 stars hero. So I better place Zwe in front of Night Sentinel. Because Night Sent is the hardest hitter in the enemy lineup.
So I end up placing Zwe top front, and Nether lower front. Mid front is totally not an issue because there is only a Djini in the mid section of the enemy. So my mid front can have a squishier warrior because of the low threat to that spot. I chose to put Earthshaker.
I could have used a 3rd tank upfront to make it super tanky lineup, but I chose not. Why? If you look at enemy top row, he has a Zwe front and a Night Sent behind him. I will use the same setup for my top row as well. My Zwe can soak his Night Angel damage and my Night Sent can kill his Zwe WITH the help of another warrior sitting in my mid section.
So adding a warrior in my mid front will help my Night Sent kill his Zwe before the enemy does the same.
This is only one factor that improve my odds of killing his Zwe first. But there is another factor. He has a damage angel while I have a healing angel. My healing angel will lengthen my Zwe life. He can take more hits than his Zae because of my angel.
With these 2 factors: Earthshaker at mid and my angel healing. I have a superior chance of elevating my top row against his identical top row.
My last spot will be Djini behind Earthshaker and back mid row and she is safe there.
My final lineup is like this:
Just by looking at the setup before match start I predicted the following:
His Zwe will die first
Then Rose
Then Night Sent
Then Djini
Amazon will die last
And if you check the video, it was exactly what happened in the real fight. I apologise for forgetting the video recorder banner on. First time using it.
I hope this reading help in some way or another.
Cheers,
Oz
